FOR THE GLORY OF CAKE!!
The Ministry of Cake is a rag-tag group of friends, co-workers and acquaintances brought together by Xbox Live though a love of gaming and eating cake. Made up of players from around the world, we’ve been playing together for almost 10 years across a wide variety of gaming systems. Recently we launched a podcast, you should really give it a listen, it’s surprisingly good!
WELCOME TO THE MINISTRY OF CAKE

Ste fell in love with gaming when his Dad let him loose on a Commodore 64 in the '80s. Ever since then he has enjoyed playing everything from first person shooters to retro home console and arcade games. It was his idea to start a podcast and is a founding member of the 'Ministry of Cake' gaming group. Not often taking things too seriously he is always happy to share his irreverent views on games and such war stories as, taking the number one spot on Silent Scope in Birmingham Airport and getting humiliated live on stage at the Playstation Experience before escaping with the goodies.
Pete was hurled into the world of gaming via a ZX Spectrum that was supposedly there to ‘help with school’ and ever since then he was hooked. Many consoles, PCs and games later he was led into pursuing a career in games development. After studying games at university and a brief spell working in the industry he decided that playing games was far more fun than making them. With this objective of fun in mind, Pete helped form the Ministry of Cake with Ste and Mart during the early days of Xbox Live. Delusions of grandeur and plans for cake-based world domination have continued non-stop for almost a decade since.

Dylan was also introduced to games via the ZX Spectrum all those years ago, and he was never the same after that.
Hailing from a charming seaside hamlet on the south coast gave Dylan access to arcades (ask your parents).
With this came a love of score chasing and obscure shoot-em-ups. A Christmas gift, brought Nintendo into Dylan’s life and a and a devotion to all things Mario followed. He met Pete through work , and with the offer of free cake decided to join the loose collective known as the Ministry of Cake. He has been trolling Pete ever since.
